Where We’re Located:

We meet in Tregeagle Community Hall, which is set amongst the lush green farmlands and macadamia plantations of the Northern Rivers. There’s plenty of parking out to the side of the Community Hall and a fenced area with a small playground for the kids to run around. If you’re visiting with us for the first time and are feeling a bit nervous, please relax – we’re regular people like you, who just also happen to love Jesus! You’ll be warmly welcomed at the door and invited to start the morning with a cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee!

Our Service Format:

Our Sunday service begins at 10.00 am, with a time for prayer and worship. Lyrics to most of the songs are displayed on a screen, so if you’re unfamiliar with the songs (or feeling a bit shy!), you’re very welcome to just sit during this time and enjoy the music. We’ll follow this by sharing a message of encouragement for the church, which usually runs for about 20-30 minutes, following which we’ll gather together around ‘the Lord’s table’ to celebrate communion.

Sharing the meal of communion powerfully connects each member of the church to one another as they acknowledge their commonality in Jesus, who is the life force that unites the church. For this reason, we believe in the power and significance of the local community of believers and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for the ‘breaking of bread’. At Riverdove, we enjoy taking our time around a large table, set up for this purpose, where we will often chat together as we participate in these symbols of freedom and forgiveness.

If you’re a fellow Christian, you’re warmly invited to join us in taking communion. We welcome at the table of the Lord anyone who professes belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15) and who has demonstrated that belief by repenting and having been baptised (fully immersed in water) (Acts 2).

Our service will then conclude; sometimes around the Lord’s table with a common prayer or sometimes in a further time of worship. In total, you can expect the service to run for about 1.5 hours.
